A few personal favorite real time images from an Unreal Engine Project.
Testing animation using Spine2D Runtime in Unreal Engine 5. Custom state machine setup built using Logic Driver Pro drives animations, weapon traces, and effects.
Infinite runner. Entire Level is inside a rectangular box. 
WPO in a material parameter collection gives the appearance of the curve and movement including the movement of the projectiles. 
The curve lerps between a finite number of values at semi-random intervals. 
Number of divisions changes over time and lines move using a panner node and a little math. 
The player and the environment do not move in relation to scene depth.
I have a deep interest in stylized and cartoonish effects. This took a smear frame material and component originally developed by Jan Kaluza and extended it.

Concept where apparitions guide the player to an oxygen tank as their air supply is depleting. 
I wanted to create a sense of claustrophobia within the helmet through the respirator sounds, the limiting of peripheral vision using the helmet interior, and the short view distance caused by the strong fog.
Subclassed destructible mesh component to expose transform of individual fragments from PhysX. Cascade particles for smoke. Materials fade out the fragments before they are destroyed.
